At Carolina Community Support Services, Inc., The Intensive Recovery Supports (IRS) program provides an array of services and supports to pregnant women ages 18 and older or women ages 18 and older with minor children who have been diagnosed with a substance use disorder. It is intended to strengthen the client’s recovery and independence by coaching related to life skills, training and education related to the impact of their diagnosis in the areas of school, family life, employment, social interaction and relapse prevention. This service also provides parenting skill improvement and pre-employment readiness.
