Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) is a structured individual and group addiction activities and services provided to assist adult and adolescent clients to begin recovery and learn skills for recovering from addiction and substance abuse in Durham, North Carolina. At Carolina Community Support Services, Inc., the program is offered at least 3 hours a day, at least 3 days a week, and provides individual as well as group counseling, drug screens, strategies for relapse prevention, life skills training, crisis contingency planning, and disease management.
